Dover Systems was established in 1982 as the importer of the Vienna Test System. The Dover is a culture-free and fair method used to assess the skills and competencies required of operators in the underground (mechanized and unconventional), and surface mining environments.

While safety, performance and state of readiness are applied in the routine vehicle checks, they should also feature heavily in the selection of drivers. This is especially so, as many of problems are often ascribed to human error or human performance.

He was with Apic Toll Treatment where he gained experience in gravity separation processess and specialised in air-pulsed jigging technology. Martin Vorster graduated from Pretoria University with bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and then went on completing his Masters Degree in Engineering. After graduating he worked as a Maintenance Engineer for Exxaro but joined MMD soon thereafter. Martin Vorster is currently working as the Managing Director for MMD Africa. Charles Ntsele

Charles Ntsele began his career as a trainee at one of the De Beers Diamond Mines. He then moved on to the Anglo Research Laboratories, where he was responsible for the comminution pilot plant. It is at this stage where he developed his grounding and passion for comminution, particularly grinding. His work experience includes the following areas:

Equipment commissioning and process optimisation
Techno-Economic evaluation of new equipment/process
Ore characterisation, data interpretation and developing conceptual comminution flowsheets
Test formulation and supervision
Plant surveys, modelling and simulation

One of his most note-worthy achievements to date is the work he conducted to prove the efficacy of Autogenous milling for kimberlitic ores, which culminated in the installation of an industrial scale test mill at Jwaneng mine.
